Hearth & Hamlet is a gentle medieval kingdom builder where the only pressure is the kind you enjoy: what to build next, and who to make smile today.

Start with a lonely keep, two cottages and one stubborn patch of wheat. Place farms and woodcutter's camps, cut stone in the quarry, and watch your first villagers stroll the paths you lay for them. Every home raises your population cap; every tavern, well and flower bed lifts their spirits. Happy villagers attract newcomers — sad ones quietly pack up and leave.

When folk are cheerful, strangers arrive at your gate and your tiny hamlet grows into a village, a town, and finally a kingdom. And keep an eye on the treeline: bandits occasionally sneak down to pinch your coin. Click one and your crowned king sprints from the keep to run them down — catch them and the loot is yours again. When the king is bored, send him on a royal hunt to fill the granary.
