Inkling

Inkling is a daily word puzzle set in a cozy letterpress print shop. Each day brings one hidden five-letter word — and six chances to find it. Type any real word and press enter: the ink stamps tell you how close you are. Green means the right letter in the right spot, ochre means the letter is in the word but somewhere else, and gray ink means it isn't there at all.

A brand-new word arrives every midnight (UTC), so the daily puzzle is the same for everyone — solve it, keep your streak alive, and come back tomorrow. Not done puzzling? Practice mode deals endless random words whenever you want one more.
