Willowmere

Your great-aunt left you a patch of land, a very old kettle, and a valley that has been quietly waiting for someone to come home.

Willowmere is a cozy farming life simulator about slow, satisfying days. Clear the overgrowth, till your first row, and plant something. Water it each morning and watch it come up. Eighteen crops rotate through four seasons, so spring parsnips give way to summer melons, autumn pumpkins and cranberries, and a greenhouse that keeps things growing when the snow arrives. Ship what you grow, spend what you earn, and slowly turn a weedy plot into a farm you're proud to walk across.

There is a whole valley past your gate. Fish the river, the lake, the sea and a cave pond for twenty species with a reel-and-tension minigame that rewards a steady hand. Descend a hundred floors of a quiet, monster-free mine where the only pressure is your energy and the clock. Raise chickens, ducks, cows, goats, sheep, pigs and rabbits, and keep a cat or a dog for company. Craft kegs, looms, furnaces and preserves jars, cook real meals, and level farming, foraging, fishing, mining and crafting as you go.

Fourteen villagers live here, each with their own home, their own job, and their own way of talking to you. They keep real schedules — the blacksmith at his forge, the fisherman on the dock, everyone in the tavern come evening — and they'll remember every conversation and every gift. Reach far enough into someone's heart and you'll see a side of them nobody else does. Three festivals mark the year, and a shrine at the edge of the woods asks for a bundle of the valley's best.

Every blade of grass, every villager, every coastline in Willowmere was drawn from scratch, one pixel at a time. Days pass on a real clock, weather rolls through, lantern light spills out of windows at dusk, and fireflies come out over the water. There is no failure state and nothing to rush. Just a valley, and as long as you'd like to spend in it.
