No choices. No shortcuts. Just the grind.
You are a generated prospect — a high school senior or a college bat — and from the moment you report to your first amateur season, the simulation decides everything. Every plate appearance is rolled from your ratings against the opposing starter, the weather, the park, your fatigue, and plain luck. You will slump. You will get benched. You may get drafted in the second round — or not at all. Most careers win nothing. That's the point.
Your only lever: attribute points.
After every game, week, and season you earn attribute points — and spending them is the only decision you'll ever make. Shape a contact hitter or a slugger, a flame-throwing starter or a lockdown closer. Push a rating toward 99 and feel it get expensive. Then watch age, injuries, and major-league pitching take their cut. Tommy John costs you two years. A torn ACL changes who you are.
A living baseball world.
Thirty fictional organizations run full seasons, standings, and playoffs at every level — rookie ball to the Show — with or without you. Get promoted only when you've earned it. Get optioned, designated, claimed on waivers, traded in your prime, released at 28, or handed a Hall of Fame case you never expected. Retire to a full career summary: the season-by-season record, the hardware, the earnings, your Hall of Fame probability, and your legacy.
Nothing is scripted. Superstars decline early. Undrafted players become MVPs. The sim doesn't care about your feelings — it only cares about the numbers.
