Hearth & Hamlet is a cozy medieval village builder with no timers chasing you and no enemies at the gate — just a green island, a crackling fire, and a handful of settlers hoping you'll make somewhere lovely. Place cottages, sow wheat fields, raise a market, and watch your hamlet become a town one happy villager at a time.

Keep the hearths burning

Every villager needs food and a roof, and every villager has an opinion about how pretty the place is. Farms feed people, cottages house them, and wells, gardens, chapels and taverns keep their hearts high. Keep everyone content and new settlers come walking in across the shore — let the pantry run dry and the mood sours fast.

From hamlet to Royal Charter

Grow from a lonely hamlet to a Village, a Town, and beyond, guided by ten gentle goals. Build the Royal Manor, fill it with 35 content villagers, and the Crown will grant your village its Royal Charter — then keep playing as long as you like. A slow day-and-night cycle lights your lanterns at dusk, fireflies come out, and the meadow ambience hums along the whole way.
