Silent Shift

Silent Shift is a first-person retro horror shift-work nightmare. You are the night guard in Sector 3 of a dead facility. The power is out, three fuse relays are dark, and you are not alone in here.

Move through flickering corridors with the on-screen stick, sweep your flashlight across the dark, and repair each glowing fuse box with a tap. The beam is the only thing that holds the shadow entity still — caught in your light, it stops dead. Look away, or let the battery die, and it starts walking again.

Your flashlight drains with every second it is on, so you ration light like food: on to freeze what is coming, off to move, on again to check the room behind you. Spare batteries are lying around the facility, if you dare detour for them.

Every repair makes it faster. Every silence makes it closer. Restore all three fuses before the dark closes in — and before your shift ends the way the last one did.
