Apex Grand Prix is a formula racer where the paddock starts with you. Before a single light goes out, you build your team: pick a chassis — explosive accelerator, straight-line monster or cornering specialist — paint it in your colors, fit your wheels, stamp your race number on the engine cover, and put your name on the license.

Then it's lights out and away you go. Eight cars, three laps, one 2.4 km grand-prix circuit with sweeping esses, a hairpin and a flat-out back straight. Slipstream down the field, hold SHIFT to fire your ERS boost out of the last corner, and watch the live position tower shuffle every time someone lunges up the inside.

• Design it all — three chassis with real handling differences, 12 livery colors, three wheel sets, your race number, driver name and suit color, all previewed live on the garage turntable
• Race a full grid — seven named rivals with their own teams, pace and racing lines, plus gentle rubber-banding that keeps every lap tense
• Real race craft — start-light countdown, lap and best-lap timing, wrong-way warnings, ERS boost management and a full classification screen
• Broadcast presentation — live minimap, position tower, timing pages and a chase camera that widens under boost
