The city fell in a week. You're still walking.
DEAD MILE is a first-person zombie survival gauntlet in the spirit of the classics: eight themed stages of dead city — dawn suburbs, downtown car graveyards, blood-lit alleys, a hospital that never turned its lights off, metro tunnels, sewers, a suicide bridge at last light, and one final storm-lit rooftop where the extraction beacon waits. Reach the safe room at the end of each mile and seal the door behind you.
You are one survivor with real weapons: a pistol that never runs dry, an SMG that shreds, and an AK that ends arguments. Aim-down-sights, timed reloads, headshots that hit twice as hard, and a shove that buys you half a second when the crowd closes in. Medkits channel for one long second — pick your moment or pick your grave.
The dead don't wait politely. Walkers shamble in ahead of you, runners sprint the second they smell you, and scripted hordes scream in from both ends of the street with their own music and a warning you'll learn to dread. Brutes — colossal, shove-proof, hit-like-a-truck — hunt you on the later miles. Ammo crates, medkits, and pain pills are scattered where you need them and never quite often enough.
Clear a stage and the next unlocks. Clear all eight and you're out of the dead mile — if the mile lets you.
