Credits just got simpler, and most prompts got cheaper.
We have rebuilt how credits are calculated. The old system had grown a lot of moving parts — new-user boosts, discounts, a premium on our most capable model — and the result was pricing that was hard to predict and hard to explain. That is gone. There is now one rule, and for most work it costs less than it did yesterday.
What changed
One rate, no modifiers
Credits are charged on one thing only: the exact work the AI does for you. Thinking, writing game code, generating a 3D model, generating an image, producing audio — all of it priced the same way, at the same rate, on every plan.
No boosts. No discounts. No per-model premium. A prompt costs what it costs, and nothing in your account history changes that number.
Prompts cost less
Because the rate is flat and the models themselves got cheaper to run, the average price of a prompt came down across the board:
- Atomos — around 52% less per prompt
- Muranyi — around 25% less per prompt
Atomos saw the biggest drop. It used to carry a premium that made it something you rationed; now it is priced like everything else.
Asset generation is now itemised
3D models, images, audio and background removal used to be folded into higher prompt prices — you paid for them, you just could not see them. They are now listed individually, so a build's cost breaks down into exactly what produced it.
If your games lean heavily on generated assets, you will see that line on your usage page for the first time. That is the trade for the lower prompt rates: less hidden in the average, more visible per item.
A new Muranyi, more than twice as fast
This release also ships a completely new version of Muranyi. It is 200–300% faster end to end. Long builds finish sooner and iteration feels considerably better.
If you already subscribe, nothing goes down
Plan prices and monthly credit amounts have changed for new subscriptions only.
If you are on a plan today you keep both the price and the monthly credits you signed up with, for as long as you stay on that plan. Credit grants have now been adjusted twice, so there are three groups on Max and Ultra:
| Subscribed | Max | Ultra |
|---|---|---|
| Before July 2026 | 7,500 | 35,000 |
| July – August 2026 | 7,000 | 30,000 |
| From August 2026 | 5,250 | 22,000 |
Changing plan moves you onto the current rate card, so an upgrade or downgrade ends the older rate. Your live allocation is always the number shown on your Plans & credits page — that is the only place that accounts for which group you are in.
The plans from here
| Plan | Price | Monthly credits |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | $25/mo · $240/yr | 2,500 |
| Max | $50/mo · $480/yr | 5,250 |
| Ultra | $200/mo · $1,920/yr | 22,000 |
Credits are $0.01 each on Pro, and the larger plans include more per dollar — up to 10% more on Ultra. Annual billing saves roughly 20% against monthly.
Top-ups
One-time credit purchases, for when a month runs long:
| Bundle | Price | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Plus | $10 | 1,000 — requires an active plan |
| Builder | $25 | 2,500 |
| Studio | $50 | 5,150 |
| Whale | $100 | 10,500 |
| Mega | $400 | 42,000 |
The larger bundles carry a small bonus. The $5 bundle has been retired — it was too small to build anything meaningful with.
Seeing your own numbers
Every charge is itemised on your Usage page: what each run cost, which model ran it, and how the total breaks down between AI work and generated assets. Full details are in the credits documentation.
